Hotel Sr Business Analyst
We currently have a client in West Broward seeking a Hotel Sr Business Analyst.
Projects:
Sr. Business Analyst who can work closely with IT's business partners to understand and develop business requirements and work with the project management & solution teams in IT on the solution. Will be responsible to meet with business partners directly and lead sessions to flush out requirements (white boarding, brainstorming). Will develop requirements documents per Client guidelines and gain business partner acceptance. Will need to evaluate solution options & vendor products with solutions team, including industry research on options available. Once solution is selected, will interface with PMO on developing project plan and lead business partners in their areas such as training, testing, operational changes/plans, user acceptance testing and deployment to the field (global locations). Remain engaged through project at critical milestones, also working with business on their portions of project.
Scope of work:
Ultimately responsible for business satisfaction. Will work as a member of the IT analyst team, and also be required to work independently with business on projects. Responsible to lead, direct, and provide functional guidance to a team of analysts and quality assurance testers.
Required skills/competencies:
Excellent communication skills - verbal & written
5+ years as a Business Analyst
5+ years experience working directly with business
Strong understanding of application development life cycle
Knowledge of project planning tools ( Microsoft Project, Clarity ++)
Experience developing testing strategies & test scripts
Ability to facilitate requirements gathering & design meetings
Experience leading team environments
Experience using a process for documenting requirements & design
Preferred Skills:
Hospitality experience a ++
Internal and consumer facing web experience a ++
Experience with marketing and creative agency business partners a +
